Mahavir Shree International Pvt. Ltd. (MSI) acted as sub-contractor to Northwest Civil Aviation Airport Construction Group Ltd. (China) under the Material Purchase Contract of Aeronautical Ground Light (AGL) (Ref: MSI-PRJ-75-0358B), part of the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) Upgrading Component ICB-01 project at Bhairahawa, Rupandehi, Nepal. The client was Gautam Buddha International Airport. The contract ran from November 2019 to January 2022 and covered procurement, supply, and installation of AGL components for the airfield.
Scope & Deliverables
- Procurement and supply of Aeronautical Ground Lights (AGL)
- Delivery of GRP poles for PALS-28 and SALS-10, with associated accessories
- Installation of CCR/ASO equipment
- Completion of Phase I and Phase II of the AGL system
- Installation of the Airport Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) and floodlight control panels
- Execution of supplementary AGL agreements and accessories
Outcome
The AGL components were finalized and commissioned by January 2022, as part of the wider GBIA Upgrading Component ICB-01 project.
