Project Overview

Project Reference: R3050

Project Name: Supply, Delivery and Installation of DC Cable, Hydrogen Sensor with Exhaust Fan and DC Fuse at P0 Power Station at TIACAO (Re-invitation).

The project involves the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of DC Cable, Hydrogen Sensor with Exhaust Fan, DC Fuse, Wireless Energy Sensors, and MCCBs at P0 Power Station, TIACAO. This initiative enhances the electrical safety, monitoring, and reliability of the airport’s critical infrastructure without disturbing its ongoing operations.

Key Deliverables

✓ Installation of DC cable between UPS and Li-ion battery.

✓ Supply and integration of hydrogen gas detection and ventilation system in the UPS room at P0 Power House.

✓ Installation of DC Fuse between UPS and Li-ion battery system.

✓ Deployment of wireless energy sensors at the main incomers of various panel boards.

✓ Supply and installation of two new MCCBs at the induction panel feeder/compartment unit.

✓ Execution of works in strict compliance with international standards (UL, IEC, NFPA, NEC, BS EN, IEEE).

✓ Completion of installation without disruption to airport operations, in coordination with the Airport Tower, TDO, and Electrical section.

Impact

The project significantly improves safety, efficiency, and reliability at TIACAO’s main power systems. The integration of hydrogen detection with ventilation ensures fire safety and compliance with global codes, while wireless sensors enhance monitoring capabilities. The installed MCCBs and DC fuse strengthen protection and continuity of power supply. Overall, this ensures safer and smarter airport operations.

Conclusion
