Aeronautical Ground Lighting & ALCMS

Supply, installation, and commissioning of airfield ground lighting, approach lighting, constant current regulators, and airfield lighting control and monitoring systems (ALCMS).

MSI delivers complete airfield ground lighting (AGL) systems in Nepal: runway and taxiway lighting, approach lighting, the power and control equipment behind them, and the airfield lighting control and monitoring systems (ALCMS) that operate them from the tower.

What MSI supplies

  • Runway edge, threshold, and taxiway lighting, including ICAO-compliant LED fixtures (ADB Safegate)
  • Approach lighting systems (PALS/SALS) with frangible masts and GRP poles
  • Constant current regulators (CCRs) and airfield switching and outlet equipment
  • Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring Systems (ALCMS) and flood lighting control panels
  • Civil works, cabling, installation, testing, and commissioning to ICAO Annex 14

Airfield lighting across Nepal

MSI has supplied and commissioned AGL systems at airports across Nepal for CAAN — among them Biratnagar, Surkhet, Rajbiraj, Chandragadhi, Janakpur, Tribhuvan International, and Gautam Buddha International — enabling night and low-visibility operations at fields previously restricted to daytime use. A selection of delivered projects is shown below; the delivery record extends beyond it.
